I shot the Mercantile Library Center for Fiction’s Annual Awards and Benefit Dinner at the New York Tennis and Racquet Club in 2007. One of the finalists for the John Sargent, Jr. First Novel Prize was Daniel Alarcon for his novel, “Lost City Radio.” Merian, a travel magazine out of Germany, saw my photo of Daniel and published it as part of a short profile about him.
