While waiting for Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes, and Suri to arrive at the Carlyle Hotel, I spotted the door man out hailing a cab under the cover of a hotel umbrella. Love that “white” camel hair coat against the black background along with the glistening rain illuminated by the flash on the umbrella.

British actor Clive Owen and Brian O’Byrne were filming a scene for the upcoming movie, The International, outside the Guggenheim Museum on Fifth Avenue early Sunday morning. Somehow Clive managed to get what looks like a razor cut across his cheek as he helps a wounded friend escape out of the museum and up Fifth Avenue. In order to create a snowy look, men were forcing giant blocks of ice into a tree shredder that then spewed out a stream of crushed ice wherever they pointed a hose.
