Exclusive! I stumbled on Jason Ritter, son of the late John Ritter, filming a scene from his new independent movie, “Peter and Vandy,” in Soho, New York. The movie is based upon the play written by Jay DiPietro, who is also directing. This scene takes place at Marisa Perry Atelier, a jewelry store on Prince Street. Jason is about to enter the store and buy his girlfriend a wedding ring.

En route to grabbing a couple tacos at La Esquina, I noticed a line of black SUV’s and film production trucks parked outside a nondescript building on Lafayette, just south of Houston. The guy selling Christmas trees on the island told me they were shooting a commercial. When I asked him if there were any stars inside he said: “You’re not one of those paparazzi, are you?” I said no. He said: “If you camped outside my house for three days I’d fucking punch you out.”
I learned from one of the grips it was a Queen Latifah commercial for Jenny Craig. My photos of her walking from the building to her trailer broke the story that she was the new spokesperson for Jenny Craig, the weight loss company. People magazine broke this story based on my photos.
